The Parish Office is usually manned Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday between 9.00am and 2.00pm.

The parish office is a most important ministry and is a way to help us free up Fr Bill's time and to spread the load.

The office is quite small and difficult to maintain social distancing if there is more than one, so at the moment extra help is not required, Thank You
If you think you can help please get in touch. Increasingly the parish office takes on administration and coordinating volunteers, below is just a few of the things that you could do to help. You don't need to be computer literate as many tasks can be done with a pen and paper!

is going on at Cardinal Newman, Salesians, St George’s and Notre Dame
Send Info to local press/A&B news about parish successes and certain events
Rotas
Coordinate rotas
Contact /Remind people on weekly rotas to improve engagement
Supplies
Order supplies
Generate Parish Database
Archive Baptism Records/Marriage/Confirmation etc and update registers
Produce a Parish Asset Register
Produce a Parish Activity Schedule and then ensure that required is delivered
Ensure that Parish Forum occurs
Notice Boards Update
Prepare various certificates for signing
Look for grants
Contact contractors for work
Develop strategy
Create a routine maintenance list
Ensure that property defects are logged so that they can be prioritised for repair.
