Parish Office

Note from the office:
Susana will be off for half term. One of our parishioners has kindly offer to help Tuesday and Wednesday. Emails will be only check sporadically. Apologies for any inconvenience.

The Parish Office is usually manned Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday &  Friday between 10.00am and 1.30pm. Other times can be arranged if we have offers of help.

The parish office is a most important ministry and is a way to help us free up Fr Ruslan's time and to spread the load.

If you think you can help, please get in touch. Increasingly the parish office takes on administration and coordinating volunteers, below is just a few of the things that you could do to help. You don't need to be computer literate as many tasks can be done with a pen and paper!

If you can help, please contact us.

Duties include:

Communications
  • Respond to emails and telephone messages
  • Maintain website
  • Help support the parish project in Uganda
  • Newsletter – Consider new format, for example a monthly general newsletter and shorter weekly sheet
  • Email news to parishioners
  • Improve liaisons with schools – make certain that we are fully aware  of what is going on at Cardinal Newman, Salesians, St George’s and Notre Dame
  • Send info to local press/A&B news about parish successes and certain events
  • Coordinate rotas
  • Order  office and liturgy supplies
  • Update parish database
  • Archive Baptism Records/Marriage/Confirmation etc and update registers
