St Erconwald's Community Pastoral Council March 2026-February 2029

Christoph Brintrup
I am the husband of my lovely wife Lydia and the father of two young girls. My family and I have been members of St. Erconwald’s parish for more than 12 years. I am passionate about people, nature, community and the Christian faith. My hope is that we can use the strong community base that we have in our parish and build it up further by spreading the good news and making it the centre of people’s lives. |

John Joyce (co-Chair)
My wife (Jane) and I have been members of the parish since moving to Walton in 1999. Blessed with two wonderful daughters - Hanna and Em - who attended Cardinal Newman. We attend mass most Saturdays, where I read occasionally. I’ve spent most of my career in financial services, as a management accountant and more recently, working in risk management. I am/was a keen cyclist (currently recovering from an injury) and also have a passing (waning) interest in football. |

Raymond Komori
My wife and I have been attending the parish since 2012, were married here and have since been blessed with two lovely sons. I am also a regular reader at the 9.15am mass on Sundays. I am originally from Nigeria and came to study in the UK and have since made it my home. I enjoy reading (especially historical fiction) and watching football. |

Helen McHugh (co-Chair)
I moved to St Erconwald's Parish 2 years ago, having retired from the NHS. I now volunteer for SSAFA the armed forces charity, as a veteran myself having served in the WRNs, it is a way of giving back. My faith is an important part of my life, it has given me comfort at the most difficult times. I hope that my faith will guide me as part of the CPC. |

Venita Menezes Goes
I am a collection agent in a private firm, and I am doing my further studies in Human Resources. I am passionate about the Word of God and have completed my Theological studies in Bible. The Word of God is my strength, and my aim is to do God’s will in my day-to-day life. My mantra: JOY - Jesus first - Others next - Yourself last. What keeps me going: Luke 6: 37: Nothing is impossible with God. |

George Monteiro
I have been a parishioner at St Erconwalds since 1998 having also attended Christ the King parish when I lived in Weybridge for some years. I grew up in Zimbabwe; am of Goan heritage and came to the UK to teach at a College in Weybridge. I am a Chartered Engineer and currently work as a regulator. The deep Catholic faith instilled in me as a child has carried me over the challenges of life and hope that our parish can be God’s centre and lifeline in the lives of our parishioners. |

Frances Ryan
I was born in Walton on Thames and baptised at St. Erconwald’s Church in 1945, and was a student at The Notre Dame Convent from the age of four. I am retired and widowed with two older children and four beautiful grandchildren. This year I am celebrating forty years as a Eucharistic Minister. I now take holy communion to thirteen Parishioners who are in residential/nursing homes as well as the house-bound. I am also a member of the care team. I am very fond of the elderly and my vision for the Parish would be to ensure all our elderly will feel included and valuable parishioners of St. Erconwald’s Church. |

Emma Whitehead
I am a mum to two young boys who were both baptised in the parish. I am a Chartered Accountant working part time as the Finance Director of a local charity and volunteer in various ways at St Erconwalds, helping run the Alpha course with a team of other mums as well as getting involved in important parish tasks such as ensuring there is enough chocolate for the Easter Egg hunt. |
