First Reconciliation and Communion
COVID 19
First Reconciliation and Communion Programme  2020-21:

Thank you for your interest in St. Erconwald's First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion Programme 2021. We will be using a programme called "Growing up Catholic" which consists of 14 sessions for children and their parents. For more information about the course, please look at the following website www.growingupcatholic.com.

To be considered for the programme children must be seven years of age by 31 August 2020 - starting school Year 3 or above in September 2020, live in the Parish of St. Erconwald's and come to Mass regularly. The Commitment is for parent and child to attend all sessions together and to attend the Parish Mass connected with the session.

To apply for a place on the 2021 programme, please put the following items in a sealed enveloped marked "First Holy Communion Programme 2021" through the door of the Parish Office at St Erconwald's by Monday 5 October 2020. The maximum number of children we accept in our programme is 60. When we reach this number, we will no longer be accepting forms, in which case you could contact All Saints.

You can  print out the forms using the buttons below and return in a sealed envelope with the contribution and other required documents. Please also note that on the Excel spread sheet for the application form there are two tabs that have to be opened. A limited number of hard copies will be available from the Parish Office.

Or

You can complete the application form on line, and  email to mail@sterconwalds.org.uk  together with a scanned copy of your child’s baptismal certificate, if your child was not baptised at St Erconwld’s. Please make a bank transfer of the £20.00 to:

Parish sort code 40 05 20
Account No 01126393
Payable to A&B Diocesan Trust  St Erconwalds

Remember to identify it as FHC + surname

A message from the Parish Finance Committee whilst we have your attention, as you will be at the centre of our parish for the next twelve and hopefully for a long time after we ask you to consider carefully about setting up a standing order to support your parish - to function we need everyone to play their part.  You can use the same online bank details to set up a standing order. If you are UK tax payer these donations can be gift aided. For a gift aide form please email giftaid@sterconwalds.org.uk  Running a large building is expensive and we thank you for in advance  your generosity.
