First and foremost - we welcome you to the parish and hope that you will have a happy connection with our parish. We know that as a large parish it is possible for visitors and new parishioners to come to one of our masses and not feel as welcomed as either you or we would like. Can we recommend that on your way in you speak with one of our greeters and introduce yourself. Anyway hopefully we will have spotted that you are new and we will have already made you feel welcome. In addition as you leave mention to Fr John that you are new. If you drop us an email at mail@sterconwalds.org.uk with your name and contact details we will make certain that we get in touch and hopefully point you in the right direction. A good place to start is at the coffee sessions which occur on a Sunday morning between the two masses (starts around 10.15) Our masses have quite different flavours and you may wish to try each one to see which suits you best. There is a parish registration form and if you complete it this will again enable us to get to know you sooner. It is also very important if you wish us to sign any school applications that we have your details on file. Forms can be downloaded below or are available from within the porch. We would ask that you consider setting up a standing order and if possible a gift aid arrangement in favour of the parish. As you can imagine St Erconwald's is a large building and we very much need the financial support of all our parishioners to undertake our ministry, even though much is delivered by unpaid volunteers. |
